Richard takes on the Great North Run for the MS Society

Club member Richard Johnson is taking on this year’s Great North Run to raise money for the MS Society, a charity that means a great deal to him. Richard was diagnosed with MS in his late teens and has seen first hand the impact the condition can have on people and families.

Having rediscovered running four years ago, Richard is now taking on the Great North Run to combine a personal challenge with raising money for a cause close to his heart. The run falls on the same day as our own Vale of York Half, so while some of us are racing closer to home, Richard will be lining up on Tyneside.

If you can support Richard’s fundraising, every donation helps.
